TEAM Physical Therapy, P.C., provides physical therapy for cancer patients. Our specialists are trained in manual lymphatic drainage and rehabilitation during and after cancer treatment to help restore optimal function of the affected region and improve your overall ability to perform the tasks you enjoy.
A physical therapy evaluation is typically performed soon after diagnosis to establish the individual’s baseline functional level, and our therapists will work closely with your oncologist to determine the best time to initiate your rehab program. Rehabilitation generally begins soon after surgery to begin restoring lymphatic function and range of motion.
Our physical therapists are skilled in addressing many of the negative effects of cancer treatment including lymphedema, joint pain, neuropathic pain, weakness, and/or fatigue to help you maintain the highest quality of life possible during and after your cancer treatment.
