Emily graduated from Rockhurst University in 2022 with a doctorate of physical therapy. She graduated with a  bachelor’s of science degree in nutrition, exercise, and health science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2020.

Her professional interests include women’s health—including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pregnancy and postpartum care, and pelvic pain, along with neurologic disorders. She has completed additional training in pelvic floor treatment and holds certifications in Herman and Wallace pelvic floor care and surface electromyographic biofeedback.
